I cannot thank him enough for his professionalism and can now walk without fear of tripping

I have had foot drop for many years and have been wearing a plastic ankle foot orthosis (AFO) supplied by the NHS.

I made an appointment to see John Young, the Orthotist at the Ledbrook Clinic.

After an initial assessment and consultation, John gave me a trial of 3 different types of carbon fibre ankle foot orthoses. The one we felt was most suited for me was the AFO which flexed at the ankle and enabled me to walk up and down inclines. I cannot thank him enough for his professionalism and can now walk without fear of tripping.
