Round Up of 2025 at the Ledbrook Clinic

2025 has been a very busy year for the Ledbrook Clinic

The Ledbrook Clinic sees people for prosthetic provision which will include above and below knee prostheses, and our team will be with the patient through every stage of their journey. People come to see us for silicon toes and fingers which have been lost through accidents at work or perhaps the missing fingers and toes are congenital. Some of these people have been living with missing fingers or toes, also in some cases a hand, for a great part of their lives and are delighted to learn that they can be supplied with a lifelike prosthesis. In many cases, this is life changing.

The process for silicon prosthetic provision is in 3 stages. The first is the consultation where we discuss your needs and answer any questions you may have. If you are happy with the outcome then we take casts, photographs and measurements  of the sound and affected finger, toe or hand, and the process will begin.

The second appointment is the trial where the prosthesis is made of clear silicon so you can assess the comfort and fit of the prosthesis.

The last stage is the manufacturing where the prosthesis is made to the highest detail.

2025 has also seen many patients supplied with ankle foot orthoses for their foot drop condition. For those people who want to remain active, the Xtern Turbomed has proved life changing, allowing people to return to sports which they previously enjoyed and retain their mobility.

We look forward to helping many more people achieve their mobility goals in 2026 and experience  the high levels of service we offer at the Ledbrook Clinic.

The Ledbrook Clinic also sees many people for medico-legal reports commissioned by solicitors or case managers. These reports help people to build a strong legal case where their injuries have been caused by medical negligence or industrial accidents.
